Teaching and Group Leadership

Since completing her specialization in art education in 1971, Tania Lebedeff has always dedicated a lot of her energy to communicating passion for creation.

From that moment on, she has designed and given her own Creativty workshops both to adults and children. Even though for 27 years she taught visual arts to thousands of children, today she works essentially with an adult audience. It is not an exaggeration to say that her colossal contribution in this field confirms that she belongs to the mediators, initiators, transmitters and “ferrywomen to other worlds”, which all great teachers always are.

She leads creativity workshops at her Arts Station Studio, in the Arts Center she co-founded in 1995 in Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

She uses a predominantly intuitive and holistic right brain approach to teaching (unlike the analytical and critical approach of the left brain) which continues to attract large numbers of students ranging from neophytes to professionals.

She believes that all people are born with natural artistic dispositions, which simply need to be revealed and explored, albeit with a guide whose role is essentially to stimulate and support the authentic, specific and unique form in which every individual’s personal creativity is expressed.

Her non repetitive and constantly renewed workshops have led to people attending them for several years either for the sheer fun of creation or as a step in a revealed professional development process. In this way, people wishing to explore their creative potential, may sign up for her workshops, regardless of their level.
